Before and After School Care

Situated within the welcoming grounds of North Ward School, our North Ward centre specializes in providing before and after school care tailored to meet the needs of busy families. This program is designed to complement the school day by offering a structured yet flexible environment where children can thrive both before and after classes.

In the morning, our before school care program provides a calm and supportive setting where children can prepare for the day ahead. Activities are designed to gently stimulate the mind and body, ensuring that children arrive at class refreshed and ready to learn. Parents can trust that their morning routines will be smoother with the reliable support our centre offers.

After school, the North Ward centre transforms into an engaging and restorative space for children to relax and enjoy a range of activities. From homework support that extends the learning day to creative and physical activities tailored to develop skills and hobbies, our program is crafted to cater to the diverse interests and needs of each child. We provide a balanced mix of academic support, play, and enrichment activities that promote personal growth and teamwork.

Our dedicated team of educators at the North Ward centre is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment. Meals & Menu

Providing a nutritious diet for your child is of utmost importance to the Paris Child Care Team. Proper food intake is the foundation for effective learning and development.

  • All meals follow the Ministry of Health guidelines which meet the standards of the Canada Food Guide
  • All food is prepared and made on site by our Food Handling Certified cook
  • We accommodate for specific diets at the request of our parents

Inclement Weather & Other Closures

Paris Child Care will close all Infant, Toddler, Preschool, JK/SK, and School Age full day programs due to inclement weather. Our closures will align with the Grand Erie District School Board and The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board decisions to close schools and facilities due to severe weather conditions.

A notice from Paris Child Care will be sent to our families regarding closures due to severe weather conditions by 6:30 am. However, please ensure to also check with the local Boards in the event of severe weather conditions to determine closures before leaving your home.
